Description
Masoor Dal is one of the best known Indian lentils. This dal is skinless and red in color. This dal is flexible and cooks very quickly with rice, earthy flavor, it has dietary fiber, vitamin B1, folic acid, and minerals, almost without fat. Whole masoor, a small but nutritionally powerful member of the legume family, is a very good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber.
